Drug awareness and drug testing are two
of the most powerful deterrents in identifying
and preventing teen drug abuse.
Stopteendrugaddiction.com was created by Christy Crandell in an effort to
raise awareness about the dangers of teen drug addiction. After the arrest
of her oldest son Ryan, Christy has dedicated her life to getting information
about teen drug and alcohol use into the hands of parents.
Christy is now a facilitator for a Northern California chapter of Parent Project®. In addition, she is the Parent Outreach Coordinator for the Rocklin Unified School District. She collaborates with local law enforcement and the local school district to educate and support people in her community about drugs, their effect on teens, available resources and parenting programs.
Lost & Found: A Mother and Son Find Victory Over Teen Drug Addiction was written in an effort to reach more parents to warn them about the real dangers of drugs and provide them with useful information that may help them identify a possible drug problem allowing for earlier intervention.
If one child is saved from the perils of drugs, then this effort is a success.
